Yes, all of it. Strap is open source and free to self-host, with the full editor, every MCP connection, and quality scoring. The hosted app is free too, and adds cross-device sync, backups, and managed auth and storage.
AI features like quality analysis and agent work run on the deployment's included OpenRouter key, or on your own key (BYOK) when you want model spend on your own account.
BYOK means bring your own key. You connect your own OpenRouter key so AI spend runs on your account and Strap never owns your model bill.
Nothing. A Company Strap is free, with as many members as you need, roles and section permissions, a team activity view, and BYOK support.
Your Strap is plain Markdown you own and can export at any time, and deleting your account wipes everything. There is no lock-in.
